There's been a lot of posts about WebGL, OpenGL, color space, and such things. Games and design aren't exactly the tags for general graphics programming.
I was really impressed by the "squash-and-stretch" animation technique in the "Rubber Ball" example, which is straight out of classic cartooning techniques.

The exact code is a bit...erm...*vintage*. The math and explanations though are reasonably clear and still interesting today.
