Made this to try out o1-preview, took ~40 prompts and 3 hours in total, with a fairly solid backed written in Go.<p>Works pretty badly in Firefox apparently due to canvas-canvas copies being really slow, Chrome works great tho.<p>Doesn't work well on mobile yet, and has some other minor issues,...
Of course, the four choices presented to each player would be in random order and hidden from the other player.<p>Note that if the AI is weak, this could result in a more balanced game between weaker and stronger human players.<p>Do you think this chess variant would be compelling?

I recommend just going through the intro and special lessons to learn the rules. I've had reports the game doesn't load on Mac and I can't debug it, otherwise give the game maybe 10 seconds to load. The site is best viewed on deskt...
